Remonter

Faction era

At any time, each faction is in a specific era. When it has acquired a sufficient technological level, the faction can move to the next era. When entering in a new era, the faction gains access to new technologies, as well as some bonuses.

Global era

The actual length of each turn depends on the global era of the game. The time settings for each era can be changed in the editor: starting date, time unit and length of a turn, name of the era. It is also possible to block an era (i.e. make it impossible to play after the ancient era).

Note than contrary to Civilization, there’s no given length for a global era. The global era is the average era for all the civilizations.
