Shadow Infantry is based on a future US soldier. Because of near possibility of implement that kind of unit, it could be placed in 2005-2010. My suggestion is to give that unit stealth ability.
I suggest also using Balou's Modern Infantry as an earlier unit and his Armored Shock Infantry as later - they are great;)
