Yes, you keep your current
phone number and line rental with BT. Your phone will work completely
as normal, the only change being your lower phone bill.
A few days after you've
registered, you will receive a written confirmation by mail from
Universal Telecom and BT. After 12-14 days, BT will move your calls,
after which you will automatically call out on Universal's low rates.
You won't be required to do anything more - other than register
here.
